Policies & Agreement

All portrait sessions are by appointment only and secured with a non-refundable $100 deposit at the time of booking.
This deposit reserves your session date and is applied toward your total balance.
The remaining balance is due on or before the date of your session.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing.

All deposits are non-refundable.

• Cancellations made 10 or more days before the scheduled session will not incur additional fees.
   
• Cancellations made with less than 10 days’ notice require full payment of the remaining session balance.
   
• If the Photographer must cancel for any reason, all monies paid — including the deposit — will be refunded within 7 business days.
   
• Rescheduling requests will be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed.
   

A digital proof gallery will be delivered within 14 business days of your session unless otherwise stated in writing.
The Photographer retains full artistic discretion in the curation, selection, and editing of final images.
Only images that meet the Photographer’s artistic and technical standards will be presented to the Client.

RAW files or unedited images are not provided under any circumstances, as they do not reflect the final artistic vision or quality standard of the Photographer’s work.

Travel within a 25-mile radius of Dahlonega, GA is included in all session fees.
For sessions beyond this distance, additional travel is billed at $10 per mile (round trip) unless otherwise arranged in writing.

All photographs created by Bahar Miller Photography remain the exclusive intellectual property and copyright of the Photographer.
The Client is granted a personal-use license to print, share, and display purchased images for non-commercial purposes.

Any commercial, editorial, resale, or third-party usage (including promotional use by businesses or brands) requires prior written permission and may incur licensing fees.

Under no circumstances may the Client alter, edit, or apply filters to the delivered images without the Photographer’s consent.

All sales of prints, albums, and digital images are final once payment has been made.
Replacements or reprints are available only for manufacturing defects.
All printed materials are produced through a professional photo lab selected by the Photographer to ensure consistency and archival quality.

Final, edited images will remain accessible for 4 weeks following delivery of your gallery.
After this period, the Photographer is not responsible for maintaining or archiving files.
Select images may be retained indefinitely for portfolio or promotional purposes.

By booking a session, the Client grants the Photographer permission to use images for portfolio display, website, social media, or promotional materials.
Clients who prefer their images to remain private must communicate this in writing prior to the session date.

The Client agrees to release and hold harmless the Photographer and any associates from all claims, damages, or liabilities that may arise from the session, including but not limited to injury, loss, or property damage.

The Photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond her control — including weather, location restrictions, technical issues, or unforeseen events.
If a session must be rescheduled due to weather or emergencies, a new date will be offered based on availability.

The Client acknowledges that participation is voluntary and agrees to follow reasonable direction during the session to ensure a safe, professional environment.

Booking a session with Bahar Miller Photography constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to all terms and policies listed above.
A detailed A Portrait Photography Agreement will be provided at the time of booking for signature and record-keeping purposes.
